    Buddle stakeholder event - Women and Girls

    Delivered by Sport England’s Buddle programme, for members of the professional workforce (those employed by an NGB, Active Partnership, Local Authority or wider sport for development organisation), this event will shine a spotlight on women and girls and give you the chance to hear from leading sector partners who are actively driving women and girls’ participation. Partners will share insights, practical learnings and approaches from a national to delivery level that have been successful in meeting the needs of women and girls.

  2. Active Bystander training - GM Moving

    The session will cover the reasons why so many people look the other way when harm is occurring and will also give some very helpful guidance about how and when it's safe to intervene. This training is funded by Sport England, as we all work together to help reduce in impact violence against women and girls as well as men and boys.

    The Sports Governance Academy - Effective chairing skills

    Making inclusion-focussed decisions relies on effective governance. Aimed at organisation chairs, this one-day course develops the core chairing skills of confidence, assertiveness and time management. Participants will be equipped with a framework for effective leadership, approaches for improving boardroom participation, managing difficult situations and overcoming barriers to good decision making.

    NWG Sports Forum

    The target audience is anyone working or volunteering in or with the sports, leisure or physical activity sectors, as we promote and advocate for partnerships working to tackle CSA/E, reinforcing the fact that ‘safeguarding is everyone’s business’. The forum is an opportunity to hear from our guest speakers and for attendees to participate in group interactive discussions, enabling participants to network and share ideas and examples of good practice.
